Product Description

Directions for Use

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12.
2 tsp., (10 mL), every 6 hrs., Max. 8 tsp., per day.

CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. This preparation contains codeine and should not be administred to children except on the advice of a doctor.

Caution: May cause drowsiness. Do not take with alcoholic beverages or other depressants, and do not drive or operate machinery requiring mental alertness. Codeine may cause or worsen constipation. Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, asthma, chronic lung disease / shortness of breath, persistent / chronic cough, glaucoma, or difficulty in urinating due to enlargement of prostate gland, or are elderly, pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking a drug for depression, including a monoamine oxidase (MAOI) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, tends to recur if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than recommended dosage. In case of accidental overdose, contact doctor or Poison Control Center immediately.

 

Store between 15 °C and 30 °C.

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients: Codeine Phosphate (3.3 mg/5 mL), Pseudoephedrine HCI (30 mg/5 mL), Guaifenesin (100 mg/5 mL).


Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
alcohol, citric acid, D&C Red nº 33, FD&C Red nº 2, flavor, glycerin, menthol, polyethylene glycol, propyl gallate, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol and water. Energy: 42.7 kJ (10.2 kcal)/5 mL. Sodium: <1.1  mmol (25mg)/5 mL. Gluten-, lactose-, paraben-, sucrose-, sulfite- and tartrazine-free. Available in bottles of 100 mL.
